বুশমিট আফ্রিকা ও এশিয়ায় শিকার করা বন্য প্রাণীর মাংস। শব্দ বিশেষত পশ্চিম ও মধ্য আফ্রিকার পশুদের থেকে মাংস পড়ুন ব্যবহৃত হয়। আজ এই শব্দটি প্রায়ই ব্যাপকভাবে বিস্তৃত পরিসীমা দেশ এবং বিশেষ করে বিপন্ন প্রজাতির আচ্ছাদনের শিকারে পরিণত হয়। ত্রিনিদাদ এবং টোবাগোতে এটি বিকল্পভাবে বন্য মাংস হিসাবে উল্লেখ করা হয়। বুশমিট ক্রাইসিস টাস্ক ফোর্স গঠনের মাধ্যমে বুশমিট ঘটনাটি মোকাবেলা করার জন্য অনেক সংরক্ষণ সংস্থা একত্রিত হয়েছে, যার লক্ষ্য জনসাধারণ, পেশাগত ও সরকারি নির্বাচনী এলাকা গড়ে তোলার লক্ষ্যে কাজ করা এবং তাদের সহায়তা প্রদানের লক্ষ্যে সহায়তা প্রদান করে যা আফ্রিকার বুশমেট সঙ্কটের প্রতিক্রিয়া এবং কার্যকরভাবে প্রতিক্রিয়া জানায় বিশ্ব.
