গ্রিকরা গ্রীস, সাইপ্রাস, আনাতোলিয়া এবং অন্যান্য অঞ্চলের একটি জাতিগত গোষ্ঠী। তারা একটি উল্লেখযোগ্য ডায়াস্পোরা গঠন করে, সারা বিশ্বে গ্রীক সম্প্রদায়ের প্রতিষ্ঠিত। গ্রিক উপনিবেশ এবং সম্প্রদায় ভূমধ্যসাগরীয় অঞ্চলের অধিকাংশ কোণে ঐতিহাসিকভাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছে, কিন্তু গ্রীক সবসময়ই এজেন সাগরের কাছাকাছি অবস্থিত, যেখানে ব্রোঞ্জ এজ থেকে গ্রীক ভাষা বলা হয়েছে। বিংশ শতাব্দীর প্রথমার্ধ পর্যন্ত, গ্রিকদের এককভাবে গ্রিক উপদ্বীপে, এশিয়া মাইনরের পশ্চিম উপকূলে, পঁচাত্তর, মিশর, সাইপ্রাস এবং কনস্টান্টিনোপলের মধ্যে বিতরণ করা হয়েছিল; এই অঞ্চলের অনেক 11 শতকের শেষের বাইজেন্টাইন সাম্রাজ্যের সীমান্ত এবং প্রাচীন গ্রিক ঔপনিবেশিকতার পূর্বাংশের ভূমধ্য অঞ্চলগুলির সাথে বৃহৎ পরিমাণে মিলছে। গ্রিক-তুর্কি যুদ্ধের পরে গ্রীস ও তুরস্কের মধ্যে বিপুল সংখ্যক জনসংখ্যার আধুনিক আধুনিক গ্রীক রাষ্ট্র এবং সাইপ্রাস সীমান্তে সর্বাধিক জাতিগত গ্রীক বন্দী রয়েছে। অন্যান্য দীর্ঘস্থায়ী গ্রীক জনগোষ্ঠী দক্ষিণ ইতালি থেকে ককেশাস অঞ্চলে এবং ড্যাসপোরা সম্প্রদায়ের অন্য কয়েকটি দেশে পাওয়া যায়। আজ, অধিকাংশ গ্রীকই আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে গ্রীক অর্থোডক্স চার্চের সদস্য হিসাবে নিবন্ধিত।
