নামকরণ হচ্ছে একটি বড় আকারের সমান্তরাল বস্তুর ঘূর্ণন, যেমন একটি জ্যোসস্কোপ, গ্রহ, অথবা ফ্লাইটে বুলেট, অথবা একটি যন্ত্রের একটি অভিপ্রায় আচরণ হিসাবে একটি কাঁটাচাঁপা, লঘুপাত বা অডডিং গতি। একটি যথাযথ রেফারেন্স ফ্রেমের মধ্যে এটি দ্বিতীয় ইউলারের কোণে পরিবর্তন হিসাবে সংজ্ঞায়িত করা যেতে পারে। যদি শরীরের বাইরের বাহিনীর কারণে এটি ঘটে না, তবে এটি নিঃশব্দ বা অয়লারের অভিব্যক্তি বলা হয়। একটি শুদ্ধ নিঃশব্দ একটি ঘূর্ণন অক্ষ একটি আন্দোলন যেমন প্রথম অয়লার কোণ ধ্রুবক হয়। মহাকাশযান ডায়নামিক্স-এ, প্রিসেসনকে কখনও কখনও অভিবাদন হিসাবে উল্লেখ করা হয়।
