ক্রমেইয়ারিয়া ক্রমেইয়ারেসে একমাত্র বংশ, যার মধ্যে প্রায় 17 টি প্রজাতি সাধারণত রাহাতানি, রত্নী বা র্যাটিনি নামে পরিচিত হয়। রাহাতানি ক্রমারিয়া রুট নামেও পরিচিত, একটি বোটানিকাল প্রতিকার যার মধ্যে রয়েছে রেফাতানি পাউরুটি বা পেরুর রাহাতানির শুকনো রুটি। রাহাতানের জীবাণুঘটিত স্তনটিটিনিক অ্যাসিড দ্বারা গঠিত হয়, যা ট্যাননিক এসিডের অনুরূপ। ইনফিউশনগুলি গলাচিহ্ন হিসাবে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে, একটি লজেন্স, বিশেষ করে যখন কোকেনের সাথে মেশানো হয়, স্থানীয় হেমস্ট্যাটিক হিসাবে এবং ডায়রিয়ার জন্য প্রতিকার। সুস্বাদু চূর্ণ হয়ে গেলে শুকনো শিকড়গুলি দাঁত পাউডারের ঘন ঘন উপাদানকে সজ্জিত করে। চূর্ণ শিকড় এছাড়াও বিশেষত পর্তুগাল, রঙ WINS রুবি লাল থেকে পরিবেশিত হয়েছে। রুট ছালটিতে প্রায় অসম্ভব মুক্ত লাল পদার্থ রয়েছে যা রতনহা লাল নামে পরিচিত। ক্রমিরিয়া আমেরিকা জুড়ে পাওয়া যায়, অধিকাংশ গ্রীষ্মমন্ডলীয় অঞ্চলে। তারা অন্যান্য গাছপালা উপর রুট পরজীবী হিসাবে কাজ যা বারকিত shrubs হয়। ফুলগুলি এলিওফার্স নামে একটি গ্রন্থি তৈরি করে যা লিপিড তৈরি করে যা গ্রীনসেন্টিসের মৌমাছির দ্বারা সংগৃহীত হয় যেমন ফুলগুলি পুঞ্জে দেয়।
