থার্মিট্
থার্মাইট হল ধাতু পাউডার জ্বালানি এবং ধাতব অক্সাইডের একটি পাইরেটেকনিক গঠন। তাপ দ্বারা প্রজ্বলিত যখন, thermite একটি exothermic অক্সিডেশন-হ্রাস প্রতিক্রিয়া সহ্য করে। অধিকাংশ ধরনের বিস্ফোরক নয় কিন্তু একটি ছোট এলাকায় উচ্চ তাপমাত্রার সংক্ষিপ্ত বিস্ফোরণ তৈরি করতে পারেন। এটির কার্যকারিতা অন্য জ্বালানী-অক্সিডাইজার মিশ্রণের অনুরূপ, যেমন কালো গুঁড়া। থার্মোমিটারের বিভিন্ন রচনা আছে। জ্বালানীগুলি অ্যালুমিনিয়াম, ম্যাগনেসিয়াম, টাইটানিয়াম, দস্তা, সিলিকন এবং বোরন অন্তর্ভুক্ত। অ্যালুমিনিয়াম কারণ তার উচ্চ উঁচু পয়েন্ট। অক্সিডাইজারের মধ্যে রয়েছে বোরন অক্সাইড, সিলিকন অক্সাইড, ক্রোমিয়াম অক্সাইড, ম্যাঙ্গানিজ অক্সাইড, লোহার অক্সাইড, লোহার অক্সাইড, তামা অক্সাইড এবং সীসা অক্সাইড।
