একটি ট্রায়াল ব্যালেন্স একটি ব্যবসায়ের অ্যাকাউন্টে অন্তর্ভুক্ত সব সাধারণ অ্যাকাউন্টের অ্যাকাউন্টের একটি তালিকা। এই তালিকা নামমাত্র অ্যাকাউন্টের অ্যাকাউন্টের নাম এবং সেই নামমাত্র অ্যাকাউন্টের অ্যাকাউন্টের মূল্য থাকবে। নামমাত্র লার্জারের দাম একটি ডেবিট ব্যালেন্স মান বা একটি ক্রেডিট ভারসাম্য মান রাখা হবে। ডেবিট ব্যালেন্স মানগুলি ট্রায়াল ব্যালেন্সের ডেবিট কলামে তালিকাভুক্ত হবে এবং ক্রেডিট ভ্যালু ব্যালান্স ক্রেডিট কলামে তালিকাভুক্ত হবে। ট্রায়াল ব্যালেন্স তালিকাভুক্ত অ্যাকাউন্টার অ্যাকাউন্ট ব্যবহার করে মুনাফা এবং হ্রাস বিবৃতি এবং ব্যালেন্স শীট এবং অন্যান্য আর্থিক প্রতিবেদনগুলি তৈরি করা যেতে পারে। নামটি একটি ট্রায়াল ব্যালেন্সের উদ্দেশ্য থেকে আসে যা সমস্ত ডেবিট মূল্যের মান সমান করে সমস্ত ক্রেডিট ভ্যালু ব্যালান্সের সমান প্রমাণ করে। প্রতিটি নামমাত্র লিজার ব্যালেন্স তালিকাভুক্ত করে ট্রায়ালিং, একটি ব্যবসায়িক কর্মক্ষমতা আর্থিক প্রতিবেদনে ব্যবহারের জন্য নামমাত্র লিজার সঠিক রিপোর্ট নিশ্চিত করে। যদি ডেবিট কলামের মোট ক্রেডিট কলামের মোট মূল্যের সমান হয় না তবে এটি দেখাবে যে নামমাত্র অ্যাকাউন্টের অ্যাকাউন্টে একটি ত্রুটি আছে। এই ত্রুটি একটি লাভ এবং ক্ষতি বিবৃতি আগে পাওয়া যাবে এবং ভারসাম্য উত্পাদন করা যাবে।
