আফিডের একটি ক্ষতিকারক পোকা Aphidoidea superfamily যে গাছপালা মধ্যে তরল চুষা দ্বারা গাছপালা ক্ষতি। এফিফাইড শীতপ্রধান জলবায়ুতে উদ্ভিদের সবচেয়ে ধ্বংসাত্মক কীটপতঙ্গগুলির মধ্যে একটি। প্রায় 10 হাজার পরিবারে প্রায় 4,400 প্রজাতি পরিচিত। প্রায় ২50 টি প্রজাতি কৃষক ও বনজতীর পাশাপাশি চাষিদের জন্য মারাত্মক কীটনাশক। আনুমানিক দৈর্ঘ্য 1 থেকে 10 মিলিমিটার পর্যন্ত পরিবর্তিত হয়। আনুষ্ঠানিকতা প্রাকৃতিক শত্রুদের কচ্ছপ beetles এবং মরু লাভা অন্তর্ভুক্ত।

Afid adalah sejenis serangga kecil daripada superfamili Aphidoidea yang merosakkan tumbuh-tumbuhan dengan meng­hisap cecair dalam tumbuhan. Apfid merupakan antara serangga perosak yang paling membinasakan kepada tanaman di kawasan iklim sederhana. Kira-kira 4,400 spesies dalam 10 famili diketahui. Kira-kira 250 spesies merupakan perosak serius kepada pertanian dan perhutanan dan juga pekebun. Panjang afid berbeza-beza daripada 1 hingga 10 milimeter. Musuh semula jadi afid termasuklah kumbang kura-kura dan larva lalat bunga.
