থোরাইট্ (জাপানি: 取 り 手) অথবা tuidi (oquinauense মধ্যে: 取 手, manipualção, co'as হাত পাবেন) শব্দটি যে জাপানি মার্শাল আর্ট প্রেক্ষাপটে সনাক্ত করে, হাত রাখার সেই উদ্ভূত কৌশল, যে, সেই আঘাত যা হাত শুধুমাত্র পাঞ্চসমূহ বা সম্পদ (waza katame) হাতাহাতি আবেদন করতে ব্যবহার করা হয় না এবং নিক্ষেপ (Nage waza)। একই cércea শব্দটি ব্যবহার করা হয়েছিল, বিশেষ করে অষ্টম শতকের পূর্বে এবং পরে একটি দীর্ঘ সময় ঐ মার্শাল আর্ট যার হৃদয় অস্ত্র হ্যান্ডলিং সংযুক্ত হয়নি, কেন জিউ-জিৎসু পরিণত ছিল সমার্থক ছিল নামকরণ করার জন্য। ইন কারাতে প্রেক্ষাপটে এছাড়াও কৌশল, যা প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বী নিরাপদ উল্লেখ করে, কিন্তু, প্রযুক্তিগত মাধ্যম অর্থাত স্ট্রোক ক্রমানুসারে অন্যান্য সুযোগ সহায়তা করার নিযুক্ত করা হয়। আর তাই উজ্জ্বল ওয়াজা (取 手 技, তোর্তা ওয়াজা) নামকরণ করা আরও সুবিধাজনক। এমনকি এই দৃশ্যকল্প, এটি একটি অখ্যাত সেট, মূলত এখনও rótudo একটি গোপন কৌশল অধীনে স্কুল ও ঐতিহ্যবাদী গবেষণা, উন্নত Kata মাত্রা প্রায় একচেটিয়াভাবে দেখা গঠিত।

Torite (em japonês: 取り手), ou tuidi (em oquinauense: 取手, manipualção, pegar co'as mãos), é o termo que identifica, no contexto das artes marciais japonesas, aquelas técnicas derivadas da imposição das mãos, isto é, aqueles golpes nos quais as mão são usadas não somente para aplicar socos ou pancadas como imobilizações (katame waza) e arremessos (nage waza). Na mesma cércea, o termo era usado, mormente antes do século VIII e por bastante tempo depois, também para designar aquelas artes marciais cujo cerne não era apegado ao manuseio de armas, havia sinonímia com o que viria a se tornar o jiu-jitsu. No âmbito do caratê, também refere-se às técnicas em que se segura o oponente, pero são técnicas meio, isto é, são golpes empregados com o escopo de auxiliar outro, na sequência. E assim sendo mais conveniente designar torite waza (取手 技, torite waza?). Ainda neste cenário, compreende um conjunto obscuro, estudado basicamente nas escolas tradicionalistas e ainda sob um rótudo de técnica secreta, vista quase que em exclusivo nos níveis mais avançados do kata.
