Aeolis
Aeolis oder Aeolia war ein Gebiet, das die west- und nordwestliche Region Kleinasiens, meist entlang der Küste, und auch mehrere Offshore-Inseln umfasste, wo sich die äolischen griechischen Stadtstaaten befanden. Aeolis nahm die südlichen Teile von Mysia ein, die ihn nach Norden, Ionien im Süden und Lydia im Osten beschränkten.
