V-mail
V-Mail, kurz für Victory Mail, ist ein Hybrid-Mail-Prozess, der während des Zweiten Weltkrieges in Amerika als primäre und sichere Methode verwendet wird, um mit im Ausland stationierten Soldaten zu entsprechen. Um die Logistik der Übergabe eines Originalbriefes über das Militärpostsystem zu reduzieren, würde ein V-Mail-Brief zensiert, in den Film kopiert und bei der Ankunft ans Ziel auf Papier gedruckt. Der V-Mail-Prozess basiert auf dem früheren British Airgraph-Prozess.
