Analytische Geometrie
Die analytische Geometrie oder die analytische Geometrie hat zwei verschiedene Bedeutungen in der Mathematik. Die moderne und fortgeschrittene Bedeutung bezieht sich auf die Geometrie der analytischen Sorten. Dieser Artikel konzentriert sich auf die klassische und elementare Bedeutung. In der klassischen Mathematik ist die analytische Geometrie, die auch als Koordinatengeometrie oder kartesische Geometrie bekannt ist, das Studium der Geometrie mittels eines Koordinatensystems. Das steht im Gegensatz zur synthetischen Geometrie. Die analytische Geometrie wird in der Physik und in der Technik weit verbreitet und ist die Grundlage der modernsten Geometriefelder, einschließlich algebraischer, differentieller, diskreter und rechnerischer Geometrie. In der Regel wird das kartesische Koordinatensystem angewendet, um Gleichungen für Flugzeuge, gerade Linien und Quadrate zu manipulieren, oft in zwei und manchmal in drei Dimensionen. Geometrisch untersucht man die euklidische Ebene und den euklidischen Raum. Wie in Schulbüchern gelehrt, lässt sich die analytische Geometrie einfacher erklären: Es geht darum, geometrische Formen auf numerische Weise zu definieren und darzustellen und numerische Informationen aus numerischen Definitionen und Darstellungen der Formen zu extrahieren. Die numerische Ausgabe könnte aber auch ein Vektor oder eine Form sein.
