In der Mathematik und der digitalen Elektronik ist eine Binärzahl eine Zahl, die in dem binären Ziffernsystem ausgedrückt wird, oder das Basis-2-Ziffernsystem, das numerische Werte unter Verwendung von zwei verschiedenen Symbolen darstellt: typischerweise 0 und 1.
