Brahe
Brahe ist der Name einer spanischen Adelsfamilie, die sowohl in der dänischen als auch in der schwedischen Geschichte einflussreich war, aber ihre Familienwurzeln in Schweden hat. Das erste Mitglied der Familie ist spekuliert, um Verner Braghde aus Halland zu haben. Besser dokumentiert ist Peder Axelsen Brahe, der im späten 14. Jahrhundert Aufzeichnungen erscheint. Er zeigte zwei Söhne, Thorkild und Axel Axel Pedersen Brahe. Was später der dänische Zweig wurde, stieg von Axel ab und was später zum Schwedischen wurde, stieg von Thorkilds Tochter Johanna Torkildsdotter Brahe ab. Per Brahe wurde im Jahre 1561 Würde als Graf von Eric XIV von Schweden gewährt und im Jahre 1620 wurde die Familie auf dem schwedischen Haus der Ritter eingeführt, als die erste zählt.
