Kopierbearbeitung

Kopieren Bearbeiten ist die Arbeit, die ein Editor zur Verbesserung der Formatierung, Stil und Genauigkeit des Textes zu verbessern. Im Gegensatz zur allgemeinen Bearbeitung kann das Kopieren von Bearbeitungen nicht den Inhalt des Textes ändern. Kopie bezieht sich auf schriftlichen oder schriftlichen Text für Satz, Druck, Veröffentlichung, Rundfunk oder andere unabhängige Verteilung. Die Kopierbearbeitung erfolgt vor dem Setzen und dem Korrekturlesen, wobei letzteres der letzte Schritt im Editorialzyklus ist. In den USA und Kanada wird ein Redakteur, der diese Arbeit macht, als Kopiereditor bezeichnet. Der hochrangige Kopiereditor einer Organisation oder der beaufsichtigende Redakteur einer Gruppe von Kopierredakteuren kann als Kopie-Chef, Kopie-Desk-Chef oder Redakteur bekannt sein. In der Buchveröffentlichung im Vereinigten Königreich und in anderen Teilen der Welt, die der britischen Nomenklatur folgen, wird der Begriff Redakteur verwendet, aber in der Zeitungs- und Zeitschriftenveröffentlichung ist der Begriff Unterredakteur, der gewöhnlich zu Sub verkürzt wird. Der ältere Sub-Editor auf einem Titel wird häufig der Chef-Sub-Editor genannt. Wie die "sub" Präfix vorschlägt, haben britische Kopie-Redakteure in der Regel weniger Autorität als regelmäßige Redakteure.
