Koordinaten: 52 ° 05'N 1 ° 57'W / 52.09 ° N 1.95 ° W / 52.09; -1.95 Evesham ist eine Marktgemeinde und eine bürgerliche Gemeinde in der Gemeindeverwaltung von Wychavon in der Grafschaft Worcestershire, England mit einer Bevölkerung von 23.576, nach der Volkszählung 2011. Es liegt etwa gleich weit entfernt zwischen Worcester, Cheltenham und Stratford-upon-Avon. Es liegt im Vale von Evesham, einem Gebiet, das die Hochebene des Flusses Avon umfasst, der für den Gartenbau bekannt ist. Das Stadtzentrum, das sich in einem Mäander des Flusses befindet, ist regelmäßig Überschwemmungen unterworfen. Die 2007 Überschwemmungen waren am stärksten in der aufgezeichneten Geschichte. Die Stadt wurde um eine Abtei aus dem 8.
