Falsche Beziehung
Eine falsche Beziehung (auch als kreuzverhältnis, nicht-harmonische Beziehung bekannt) ist der Name einer Art von Dissonanz, die manchmal in der klassischen polyphonen Musik auftritt, am häufigsten in der Vokalmusik der Renaissance. Der Begriff beschreibt i) einen "chromatischen Widerspruch" zwischen zwei Tönen, die gleichzeitig (oder in unmittelbarer Nähe) in zwei verschiedenen Stimmen oder Teilen klingen, oder ii) in der vor 1600 geschriebenen Musik das Auftreten eines Tritons zwischen zwei Noten benachbarter Akkorde. Spiel (Hilfe · Info) Im obigen Beispiel tritt eine chromatische falsche Relation in zwei benachbarten Stimmen auf, die zur gleichen Zeit klingen (rot dargestellt). Die Tenorstimme singt G♯, während der Bass G ♮ kurz vor ihm singt und den Zusammenstoß eines erweiterten Unisonos hervorbringt. Spiel (Hilfe · Info) In diesem Fall ist die falsche Relation weniger ausgeprägt: Die widersprüchliche E ♭ (Sopranstimme) und E ♮ (Bassstimme) (verminderte Oktave) klingen nicht gleichzeitig.
