Ein Forecar war ein Autokarosserie, der von mehreren Herstellern von leichten Autos und Motorrädern im ersten Jahrzehnt des 20. Jahrhunderts angenommen wurde. Bei dieser Art von Körper wurde der Beifahrersitz vor dem Motor platziert. Es war in der Regel über der Vorderachse platziert, so dass der Insasse extrem anfällig im Falle einer Kollision. Der Fahrersitz war dahinter und in der Regel höher als der für die Passagiere. Wetterschutz wurde selten zur Verfügung gestellt. Es wurden sowohl drei als auch vier Räderprognosen gemacht. Bei einigen Modellen konnte der Vordersitz durch ein Gestell ersetzt werden, um Waren zu transportieren und damit das Auto zu einem leichten Lieferfahrzeug umzuwandeln.
