Dyspepsie
Dyspepsie, auch bekannt als Verdauungsstörungen, ist ein Zustand der beeinträchtigten Verdauung. Es ist ein medizinischer Zustand, der durch chronische oder rezidivierende Schmerzen im Oberbauch, obere Bauchfülle und das Gefühl voll früher als erwartet beim Essen gekennzeichnet ist. Es kann von Blähungen, Aufstoßen, Übelkeit oder Sodbrennen begleitet werden. Dyspepsie ist ein häufiges Problem und wird häufig durch gastroösophageale Refluxkrankheit oder Gastritis verursacht. Daher kann die unerklärliche Neuaufdringung der Dyspepsie bei Menschen über 55 oder die Anwesenheit anderer alarmierender Symptome weitere Untersuchungen erfordern. Funktionelle Dyspepsie ist Dyspepsie "ohne Beweis für eine organische Krankheit, die wahrscheinlich die Symptome erklären wird". Die funktionelle Dyspepsie wird voraussichtlich etwa 15% der Gesamtbevölkerung in den westlichen Ländern beeinflussen.
