WAS BEDEUTET INHERE AUF ENGLISCH

Inhärenz

Inhärent bezieht sich auf die Idee von Empedokles, dass die Qualitäten der Materie aus den relativen Proportionen von jedem der vier Elemente, die in ein Ding eintreten, kommen. Die Idee wurde von Platon und Aristoteles weiterentwickelt. Der Plato akzeptierte den Anspruch von Empedokles im Timaius. Allerdings hat Platon auch angewendet, um die Anwesenheit von Form in Materie zu decken. Das Formular ist ein aktives Prinzip. Materie auf der anderen Seite ist passiv, eine bloße Möglichkeit, dass die Formen zum Leben erwecken. Aristoteles akzeptierte den Anspruch von Empedokles eindeutig, aber er verwarf Platons Idee von den Formen. Nach Aristoteles sind die Unfälle einer Substanz inkorporale Wesen, die in ihr vorhanden sind. "Wenn ich in einem Subjekt gegenwärtig bin, so meine ich nicht, da die Teile in einem Ganzen gegenwärtig sind, sondern von dem Subjekt unfähig sein können." Ein eng verwandter Begriff ist Teilnahme. Wenn ein Attribut in einem Subjekt liegt, dann soll das Subjekt an dem Attribut teilnehmen. Zum Beispiel, wenn das Attribut in Athen in Sokrates inhäriert, dann Sokrates soll an dem Attribut teilnehmen, in Athen ....
