Interlaced Video
Interlaced-Video ist eine Technik zum Verdoppeln der wahrgenommenen Bildrate eines Video-Displays ohne zusätzliche Bandbreite zu verbrauchen. Das verschachtelte Signal enthält zwei Felder eines Videobildes, die zu zwei verschiedenen Zeiten aufgenommen wurden. Dies erhöht die Bewegungswahrnehmung für den Betrachter und reduziert das Flackern, indem er den Phi-Phänomen-Effekt ausnutzt. Dies verdoppelt die Zeitauflösung im Vergleich zu Nicht-Interlaced-Aufnahmen. Interlaced-Signale erfordern eine Anzeige, die in der Lage ist, die einzelnen Felder in einer sequentiellen Reihenfolge anzuzeigen.
