Khalsa
Der Khalsa ist der kollektive Körper aller eingeleiteten Sikhs, die von den fünf Geliebten vertreten werden und den Guru Panth, die Verkörperung des Gurus und den letzten zeitlichen Guru / Führer der Sikhs genannt werden können. Das Wort Khalsa übersetzt "Sovereign / Free". Eine weitere Interpretation ist die "Pure / Genuine". Die Khalsa wurde am 30. März 1699 von Guru Gobind Singh, dem zehnten Sikh-Guru, eingeweiht. Von da an wurde die zeitliche Führung der Sikhs mit dem Verliehen an die Khalsa weitergegeben Titel des "Guru Panth" und die spirituelle Führung wurde an den Guru Granth Sahib weitergegeben, wobei die Khalsa für alle Führungskräfte, Militär und Zivilbehörden in der Sikh - Gesellschaft verantwortlich war. Die Khalsa heißt auch die Nation der Sikhs Khalsa kann mit den gegebenen Fünf Ks und Titeln von Singh und Kaur identifiziert werden, die gewonnen werden, nachdem der Schüler in die Ordnung der Khalsa getauft wird.
