Magic Square
In der Freizeitmathematik ist ein magisches Quadrat eine Anordnung von verschiedenen Zahlen, gewöhnlich Ganzzahlen, in einem quadratischen Gitter, wo die Zahlen in jeder Zeile und in jeder Spalte und die Zahlen in den Vorwärts- und Rückwärts-Hauptdiagonalen alle addieren selbe Nummer. Ein magisches Quadrat hat die gleiche Anzahl von Zeilen, wie es Spalten hat, und in der konventionellen mathematischen Notation steht "n" für die Anzahl der Zeilen, die es hat. So enthält ein magisches Quadrat immer n2 Zahlen, und seine Größe wird als "der Ordnung n" beschrieben. Ein magisches Quadrat, das die ganzen Zahlen von 1 bis n2 enthält, wird als normales magisches Quadrat bezeichnet. Es ist möglich, ein normales magisches Quadrat beliebiger Größe außer 2 × 2 zu konstruieren, obwohl die Lösung für ein magisches Quadrat, wobei n = 1 trivial ist, da es einfach aus einer einzigen Zelle besteht, die die Zahl 1 enthält.
