Mendip Hills
Die Mendip Hills ist eine Reihe von Kalkstein Hügeln im Süden von Bristol und Bath in Somerset, England. Wenn man von Weston-Super-Mare und Frome nach Osten führt, übersehen die Hügel die Somerset Levels im Süden und das Chew Valley und andere Nebenflüsse des Avon im Norden. Die Hügel geben ihren Namen an den örtlichen Regierungsbezirk von Mendip, der den größten Teil des Gebietes verwaltet. Eine breite Palette von Outdoor-Sport-und Freizeitaktivitäten finden in der Mendips, viele auf der Grundlage der besonderen Geologie der Region.
