Mohismus
Mohismus oder Moism (Chinesisch: 墨家; Pinyin: Mòjiā, wörtlich: "School of Mo") war eine chinesische Philosophie, die von den Anhängern von Mozi (auch als Mo Tzu (Master Mo), lateinisch als Micius), 470 v. Chr. C.391 v.Chr. Es entwickelte sich etwa zur gleichen Zeit wie Konfuzianismus, Taoismus und Legalismus und war eine der vier wichtigsten philosophischen Schulen während der Frühlings- und Herbstperiode (von 770 v. Chr. Bis 480 v. Chr.) Und der Kriegszeitraum (von 479 v. Chr. Bis 221 v.Chr.), . Während dieser Zeit wurde Mohism (墨 Mo) als ein bedeutender Konkurrenzkampf zum Konfuzianismus (儒 Ru) gesehen. Die Qin-Dynastie, die China im Jahre 221 v. Chr. Vereinigte, verabschiedete den Legalismus als offizielle Regierungsphilosophie und unterdrückte alle anderen philosophischen Schulen. Die Han-Dynastie, die folgte, nahm den Konfuzianismus als offizielle Staatsphilosophie an, ebenso wie die meisten anderen aufeinanderfolgenden Dynastien, obwohl der Taoismus und der spätere Buddhismus auch im späteren chinesischen Leben und Denken eine wichtige Rolle spielten, während der Mohismus alle als eine getrennte Denkschule verschwunden war. Mohistenbücher wurden später in den taoistischen Kanon verschmolzen.
