In der Statistik ist ein gleitender Durchschnitt eine Berechnung, um Datenpunkte zu analysieren, indem eine Reihe von Mittelwerten verschiedener Teilmengen des vollständigen Datensatzes erstellt wird. Es wird auch als bewegliches Mittel oder Rollmittel bezeichnet und ist eine Art Finite Impulsantwortfilter. Variationen beinhalten: einfache und kumulative oder gewichtete Formen.
