Neue Partnerschaft für Afrikas Entwicklung
Die neue Partnerschaft für Afrikas Entwicklung ist ein Wirtschaftsförderungsprogramm der Afrikanischen Union. NEPAD wurde auf der 37. Tagung der Versammlung der Staats- und Regierungschefs im Juli 2001 in Lusaka, Sambia, verabschiedet. NEPAD zielt darauf ab, eine übergreifende Vision und einen politischen Rahmen für die Beschleunigung der wirtschaftlichen Zusammenarbeit und Integration zwischen den afrikanischen Ländern zu schaffen.
