Ein Otolith, der auch als Statoconium oder Otoconium bezeichnet wird, ist eine Struktur im Sakkulum oder Utrikel des Innenohres, speziell im vestibulären Labyrinth der Wirbeltiere. Die saccule und utricle wiederum bilden zusammen die otolithorgane. Sie sind empfindlich gegen Schwerkraft und lineare Beschleunigung. Wegen ihrer Orientierung im Kopf ist der Utrikel empfindlich gegenüber einer Veränderung der horizontalen Bewegung, und das Saccule gibt Auskunft über die vertikale Beschleunigung.
