Der Plural, in vielen Sprachen, ist einer der Werte der grammatischen Kategorie der Zahl. Pluralformen von Substantiven bezeichnen typischerweise eine andere Menge als die Standardmenge, die durch ein Substantiv dargestellt wird, was in der Regel eine ist. Am häufigsten werden also Pluralformen verwendet, um zwei oder mehr von etwas zu bezeichnen, obwohl sie auch fraktionierte, null oder negative Mengen bezeichnen können.
