Quartodezimanismus

Nach einigen Interpretationen impliziert das Evangelium von Johannes, dass Nisan 14 der Tag war, an dem Jesus in Jerusalem gekreuzigt wurde. Die synoptischen Evangelien setzen die Hinrichtung am ersten Tag des ungesäuerten Brotes. Im alten Israel war der erste Tag des ungesäuerten Brotes, ein besonderer Heiliger Sabbat, auf Nisan 15 und begann ein sieben Tage langes Fest für den Herrn. In der Zeit Christi hatten sich viele Bräuche in Bezug auf das Fest verändert, unter ihnen die Vermischung der beiden Festivals in gewissen Bräuchen und Terminologie.
