Repunit
In der Freizeitmathematik ist ein Repunit eine Zahl wie 11, 111 oder 1111, die nur die Ziffer 1 enthält - die einfachste Form der Repdigit. Der Begriff steht für wiederholte Einheit und wurde 1966 von Albert H. Beiler in seinem Buch Erholung in der Theorie der Zahlen geprägt. Ein Repunit Prime ist ein Repunit, der auch eine Primzahl ist. In binär sind dies die weithin bekannten Mersenne-Primzahlen.
