Dies hat die Wirkung, weitere Schatten weiter zu erweichen. Ringblitze sind auch sehr beliebt bei Portrait- und Modefotografie. Neben der Erweichung der Schatten und der Schaffung von kreisförmigen Highlights in den Augen des Modells, die einzigartige Art und Weise, dass ein Ringblitz macht Licht gibt dem Modell ein schattiger Heiligenschein, die ein gemeinsames Merkmal der Modefotografie ist.
