Erneuerbare Transport Treibstoffverpflichtung
Die Erneuerbare-Transport-Treibstoffverpflichtung im Vereinigten Königreich ist eine Voraussetzung für den Transport von Kraftstofflieferanten, um sicherzustellen, dass 5 Prozent aller Straßenfahrzeug-Treibstoffe aus nachhaltigen erneuerbaren Quellen bis 2010 geliefert werden. Fast alle vorhandenen Fahrzeuge können auf einer 5% igen Mischung in flüssigen Brennstoffen oder auf 100% Biogas laufen, obwohl in einigen Fällen eine Kraftstoffsystemanpassung erforderlich sein kann. Es sollte auch die Wirkung von Biokraftstoffbestandteilen auf Kraftstoffsystemteile wie Gummischläuche, insbesondere bei älteren oder klassischen Fahrzeugen, berücksichtigt werden.
