Solarisierung
Die Solarisierung ist ein Phänomen in der Fotografie, in dem das Bild, das auf einem negativen oder auf einem fotografischen Druck aufgezeichnet ist, ganz oder teilweise in Ton umgekehrt ist. Dunkle Bereiche erscheinen leichte oder helle Bereiche erscheinen dunkel. Der Begriff ist gleichbedeutend mit dem Sabattier-Effekt bei der Bezugnahme auf Negative, ist aber technisch falsch, wenn er sich auf Drucke bezieht. Kurz gesagt, ist der Mechanismus auf Halogenionen zurückzuführen, die innerhalb des Halogenidkorns freigesetzt werden, indem eine Belichtung, die zur Kornoberfläche diffundiert, in Mengen, die ausreichen, um das latente Bild zu zerstören, diffundiert.
