Medizinische Ultraschalluntersuchung
Diagnostische Sonographie ist eine Ultraschall-basierte diagnostische Bildgebung Technik zur Visualisierung der inneren Körperstrukturen einschließlich Sehnen, Muskeln, Gelenke, Gefäße und interne Organe für mögliche Pathologie oder Läsionen verwendet. Die Praxis der Untersuchung von schwangeren Frauen mit Ultraschall wird als geburtshilfliche Sonographie, und ist weit verbreitet. In der Physik bezieht sich "Ultraschall" auf Schallwellen mit einer zu hohen Häufigkeit für den Menschen zu hören. Ultraschallbilder werden durch Senden eines Pulses von Ultraschall in Gewebe mit einem Ultraschallwandler hergestellt. Der Klang reflektiert und widerhallt Teile des Gewebes. Dieses Echo wird aufgezeichnet und als Bild für den Bediener angezeigt. Viele verschiedene Arten von Bildern können mit Ultraschall gebildet werden. Der bekannteste Typ ist ein B-Mode-Bild, das einen zweidimensionalen Querschnitt des abgebildeten Gewebes zeigt. Andere Arten von Bild können den Blutfluss, die Bewegung des Gewebes im Laufe der Zeit, die Lage des Blutes, die Anwesenheit von spezifischen Molekülen, die Steifheit des Gewebes oder die Anatomie einer dreidimensionalen Region anzeigen. Ultraschall kann auch therapeutisch angewendet werden, um Gallensteine und Nierensteine aufzubrechen oder krankes oder krebsartiges Gewebe zu heizen und zu zerstören.
