Stereoskopie
Stereoskopie ist eine Technik zur Schaffung oder Verbesserung der Illusion der Tiefe in einem Bild durch Stereopsis für binokulare Vision. Das Wort Stereoskopie leitet sich von griechischen στερεός, was bedeutet "fest, solide", und σκοπέω, was bedeutet "zu sehen, zu sehen". Jedes stereoskopische Bild heißt Stereogramm. Ursprünglich bezeichnete das Stereogramm ein Paar Stereobilder, die mit einem Stereoskop betrachtet werden konnten. Die meisten stereoskopischen Methoden stellen zwei Offsetbilder separat zum linken und rechten Auge des Betrachters dar.
