Thessalien
Thessalien ist eine traditionelle geographische und moderne Verwaltungsregion Griechenlands, die die meisten der alten gleichnamigen Region umfasst. Vor dem griechischen Dunklenalter war Thessalien als Aeolia bekannt und erscheint also in Homer's Odyssey. Die Region Thessalien umfasst auch die Sporadeninseln.
