Ähnliche Konzepte wie Perfidie existieren seit Jahrhunderten als Zoll zwischen zivilisierten Ländern , Aber diese Bräuche wurden erstmals in den Haager Konventionen von 1899 und 1907 als Völkerrecht kodifiziert. Das moderne Konzept eines Kriegsverbrechens wurde unter der Schirmherrschaft der Nürnberger Prozesse weiterentwickelt, basierend auf der Definition in der Londoner Charta, die am 8.
