Der Begriff bezieht sich auch auf die irrationale Angst und oder den Glauben, dass die ostasiatischen Gesellschaften Kriege mit westlichen Gesellschaften anzugreifen und zu führen und sie schließlich auszulöschen und zu ihrer totalen Vernichtung zu führen, sei es ihre Gesellschaften, Menschen, Lebensweisen, Geschichte und oder kulturelle Werte.
