Sorbit-Sorbit ist einer der sechs Zuckeralkohole und wird in der normalen Leber durch die Wirkung von Sorbitol · Tehydorogenase zu Fructose-Fructose. Es wird aus Fructose zu Fructose-1-p, tritt in das System ein und wird metabolisiert (metabolisiert). Schätzungen aus Tierversuchen lassen darauf schließen, dass Sorbitol eine hohe hepatische Glykogenproduktion aufweist, in der Leber hoch verfügbar ist, bei Lebersteatose weniger hemmend wirkt und weniger Einfluss auf den Blutzucker hat. (Transfusionsmittel), aber seine Wirkung ist immer noch fraglich. 솔비톨 솔비톨은 6가(價)의 당알콜의 하나로, 정상간(正常肝)에서는 솔비톨ㆍ테히도로게나제의 작용에 의하여 과당 fructose로 된다. fructose로부터 fructose-1-p로 되어 해당계로 들어가, 대사(代謝)된다. 동물실험으로부터 추정되고 있는 것으로는 솔비톨은 간그리코겐생성이크고, 간에서의 이용이 크고, 간장해시에서도 억제되는 정도가 적고, 혈당에의 영향도 적은 것 등을 들 수 있고, 실제의 수액제제(輸液製劑)로서 사용되고 있으나, 그의 효과에 대하여는 아직 의문시되고 있다.
