Kor
Der Kor ist eine große militärische Formation, die aus zwei oder mehr Divisionen besteht, oder eine militärische Verwaltungsgruppe in den Streitkräften mit der gleichen Funktion, wie Artillerie oder die Tradition. Das Korps kann sich auch auf bestimmte Einheiten oder bestimmte Dienstzweige beziehen, wie das United States Marine Corps, das Royal Marine Corps, das Armed Forces Corps oder die Correspondents der Commissioners. Der Begriff Militär wird dann für Organisationen des öffentlichen Dienstes mit halbmilitärischen Regierungsstrukturen, Freiwilligenorganisationen des öffentlichen Dienstes, wie Sicherheitskorps, verschiedene Rettungskorps, mehrere Nichtregierungsorganisationen und andere zivile Freiwilligenorganisationen übernommen.
