Radar
Radar ist eine neue Abkürzung für Funkerkennung und -messung. Radar ist ein System zum Erkennen, Messen und Kartieren von Objekten wie Flugzeugen und Regen. Eine starke Funkwelle wird ausgegeben und der Empfänger hört auf ein defektes Echo. Durch Analysieren des Signals kann der Deflektor gefunden und manchmal identifiziert werden. Obwohl die Anzahl der zurückgegebenen Signale gering ist, kann das Funksignal leicht erkannt und verstärkt werden. Funkradarwellen können leicht mit der gewünschten Stärke erzeugt werden, können sogar mit geringer Leistung detektiert und dann mehrmals verstärkt werden. Daher ist das Radar geeignet zum Detektieren von Objekten in großen Entfernungen, wo andere Mittel, wie z. B. Schall, Sehkraft, zu schwach werden, um es zu verwenden.
