Koton

Koton ist eine Filialkette mit mehr als 4.600 Mitarbeitern und 255 in der Türkei und 107 im Ausland mit insgesamt 362 Filialen in 25 Ländern und im Zentrum von Istanbul. Koton, das im Konfektionsbereich tätig ist, wurde 1988 von Yilmaz Yilmaz und dem Ehepaar Gülden Yilmaz in Istanbul gegründet. Yilmaz, dessen Hauptberuf Offizier und Lehrer war, wurde mit einem kleinen Laden in Werbespots eingesetzt, um mehr exportierte Produkte zu verkaufen. Das Paar verließ seinen Beruf, nachdem das Geschäft großes Interesse erweckt hatte und sich mit dem gesamten Geschäft und Textil befasste. Koton begann 1995 mit der eigenen Produktion und eröffnete 1996 seinen ersten ausländischen Laden in München. Ab 2014 gibt es 362 Geschäfte, davon 107 im Ausland, darunter Koton, Russland und Deutschland.

Koton, yaklaşık 4.600'den fazla çalışanı ve 255'i Türkiye'de 107'si yurt dışında olmak üzere toplam 362 mağaza ile 25 ülkede bulunan ve merkezi İstanbul olan mağazalar zinciridir. Hazır giyim sektöründe faaliyet gösteren Koton, 1988 yılında İstanbul'da Yılmaz Yılmaz ve Gülden Yılmaz çifti tarafından kuruldu. Asıl meslekleri subay ve öğretmen olan Yılmaz çifti ihraç fazlası ürünleri satmak amacıyla ufak bir dükkan ile ticarete atıldı. Çift, dükkanın büyük ilgi görmesi üzerine mesleklerinden ayrılarak tamamen mağazacılık ve tekstil ile uğraşmaya başladı. 1995 yılında kendi üretimini yapmaya başlayan Koton, ilk yurt dışı mağazasını 1996 yılında Almanya'nın Münih şehrinde açtı. 2014 yılı itibari ile 362 mağazası bulunan Koton, Rusya, Almanya başta olmak üzere mağazalarının 107'si yurt dışında bulunmaktadır.
