The Fextal is a side valley of the Oberengadins in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. Politically it is a part of the municipality Sils in Engadin / Segl. The valley is one of the highest all year round valleys in Switzerland. Starting from Sils-Maria at the beginning of the valley are the small settlements Vaüglia, Platta, Crasta, Vals and Curtins, which consist mostly only of few houses. The high valley ends at the Fexergletscher, which is surrounded by a crown of mountain peaks such as the Il Chapütschin, La Maonigia, Piz Fora, Piz Güz and the 3.441 m high Piz Tremoggia. This is also the source of the Fedacla, which flows through the valley, and which had previously been devastated by the great masses of Sils. Probably used as pasture since the 12th century, the valley was documented in 1303 as a document of the Fede. Since 1538 it belonged to the neighborhood Sils. In 2000 the Fextal counted 101 inhabitants. There are two hotels, a few pensions, as well as three full and two secondary farmers.

Das Fextal ist ein Seitental des Oberengadins im Schweizer Kanton Graubünden. Politisch ist es ein Teil der Gemeinde Sils im Engadin/Segl. Das Tal gehört zu den höchstgelegenen ganzjährig bewohnten Tälern der Schweiz. Ausgehend von Sils-Maria am Talanfang finden sich die Kleinsiedlungen Vaüglia, Platta, Crasta, Vals und Curtins, die meist nur aus wenigen Häusern bestehen. Das Hochtal endet am Fexergletscher, der von einem Kranz von Berggipfeln wie dem Il Chapütschin, La Maonigia, Piz Fora, Piz Güz und dem 3.441 m hohem Piz Tremoggia umgeben ist. Hier liegt auch das Quellgebiet der das Tal durchfließenden Fedacla, die früher zeitweise mit großen Wassermassen Sils verwüstete. Wohl seit dem 12. Jahrhundert als Weide genutzt, fand das Tal 1303 als Fedes urkundliche Erwähnung. Seit 1538 gehörte es zur Nachbarschaft Sils. Im Jahr 2000 zählte das Fextal 101 Einwohner. Zwei Hotels, einige Pensionen sowie drei Voll- und zwei Nebenerwerbslandwirte gibt es hier.
