WHAT DOES ISOCHOR MEAN IN GERMAN?
Isochoric state change
Isochor is a term of thermodynamics. It describes a state change of a gas in which the volume in the system remains constant. According to the law of amontons or the equation of equilibrium of an ideal gas, the following also holds for a constant particle number: This also implies that the relative change in the pressure corresponds to the relative change in the temperature: ▪ P1: Absolute pressure in bar before heat input ▪ P2: Absolute pressure In bar after the heat supply ▪ T1: temperature before the heat supply ▪ T2: temperature after the heat supply According to the state equation of an ideal gas, no work is done, according to the first main point of the thermodynamics goes directly with a supplied energy into the internal energy.
