Serapis

Serapis was an Egyptian Hellenistic god, established since Ptolemy I as an integrative kingdom god. In it, v.a. Features of the Egyptian deities of Osiris, the Apis bull, as well as the Greek-Roman main gods Zeus-Jupiter and Hades-Pluto. Serapis war ein ägyptisch-hellenistischer Gott, der seit Ptolemaios I. als integrativer Reichsgott etabliert wurde. In ihm sind v.a. Züge der ägyptischen Gottheiten Osiris, des Apis-Stiers, sowie der griechisch-römischen Hauptgötter Zeus-Jupiter und Hades-Pluto verschmolzen.
