Torfmoose

Torfmoose

The peat mosses, also referred to as bleaching mobs, are a genus of mosses and belong to the broad-leaved mosses. Most live in nutrient-poor, acidic habitats. By destroying the habitats of the peat mosses, mainly moors and moist heaths, the mosses are highly endangered and partly in drastic decline.
