Kermanshah

Kermanshah is the capital city of Kermanshah Province, Iran. At the 2011 census, its population was 851,405 and 784,602, in 198,117 families at the 2006 census. The name is derived from the Middle Persian word Kirmānšāh. The languages spoken by the people is Kurdish, Southern Kurdish, Laki and Persian. Kermanshah is located 525 kilometres from Tehran in the western part of Iran. Kermanshah has a moderate and mountainous climate.
