WHAT DOES BEDTIME MEAN IN ENGLISH?

Bedtime

Bedtime involves rituals made to help children feel more secure, and become accustomed toward a comparatively more rigid sleep schedule than they would otherwise establish. Such rituals may be involved to a greater or lesser extent. Bedtime for children may become a positive ritual including: ▪ Bathing and Oral hygiene ▪ Bedtime story ▪ Songs, nursery rhymes or a lullaby ▪ Getting dressed in pajamas In some families, bedtime is an important bonding period for parents and children. The routines of bedtime can be an opportunity to spend quality time with a child, discussing emotional concepts such as views of daytime experiences, expressing interests as plans for the next day, and learning, for example with a book. It plays a key part in many parenting styles. Bedtime for adults may start as early as 8:30 PM, or in some extreme cases, even earlier.

Paul Auster
Children, I mean, think of your own childhood, how important the bedtime story was. How important these imaginary experiences were for you. They helped shape reality, and I think human beings wouldn't be human without narrative fiction.
2
Paul Auster
Those of us who can remember our childhoods will recall how ardently we relished the moment of the bedtime story, when our mother or father would sit down beside us in the semi-dark and read from a book of fairy tales.
3

We have a demon, we have an angel inside, within our souls, and you just play with it, and sometimes the evil part of you wins the battle, in a very important decision, or in a bedtime, with your lover. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
4
Louise Brown
Much of my reading time over the last decade and a half has been spent reading aloud to my children. Those children's bedtime rituals of supper, bath, stories, and sleep have been a staple of my life and some of the best, most special times I can remember.
5
Mason Cooley
Three meals plus bedtime make four sure blessings a day.
6
Allen Covert

I couldn't find any stories, games or television shows that were fun and exciting while also being morally instructive and patriotic.
7
Roma Downey
I'd love to do some bedtime stories for kids or that kind of thing. But with the demands of the shooting schedule and balancing the demands of being a single mother, it's a wonder you can squeeze in anything.
8

Men have the influence and power in business and politics. It is the mother who can make the child's bedtime earlier, take away desserts or ground the child.
9
Nathan Fillion
Whatever our bedtime was as kids, we could stay up an extra half hour if we were reading. My parents didn't care as long as I was under the spell of a Stephen King or a Douglas Adams. Now I read in bed. I read at work. I read standing in line. It's like, 'Hello, my name is Nathan and I am a reader.'
10
Karen Finerman
I remember the absolute, joyous freedom I felt when I first went to college: I had no bedtime, no curfew, no rules - I loved it. I was in charge. I couldn't believe I didn't have to answer to anyone.
