Gayal

The gayal, also known as mithun, is a large semi-domesticated bovine distributed in north-eastern India, Bangladesh, northern Myanmar and in the Yunnan Province of China. In the Adi language, gayal are called eso; they are called subu by the Apatani and Nishi tribes, or often referred to as "mithun".
