WHAT DOES PHYSICALIST MEAN IN ENGLISH?

Physicalism

In philosophy, physicalism is the ontological thesis that "everything is physical", or that there is "nothing over and above" the physical. Physicalism, therefore, is a form of ontological monism—a "one stuff" view of the nature of reality as opposed to a "two-stuff" or "many-stuff" view. Two questions immediately arise. First, what is meant by "the physical"? Second, what is it for non-physical properties to be "nothing over and above" the physical? Physicalism is closely related to materialism.

Definition of physicalist in the English dictionary

The definition of physicalist in the dictionary is an advocate of the doctrine that all phenomena can be described in terms of space and time and that all meaningful statements are either analytic, as in logic and mathematics, or can be reduced to empirically verifiable assertions.
